@autism101@actuallyautistic I don't do any of that, I just don't give a fuck. Most neurotypical people who are forced to spend time with me hate my guts, and I'm fine with that, it's never been any different since I was a little child.
@autism101@actuallyautistic True. Funnily enough, others find me very likeable, funny and social, despite my autism. I also enjoy the company of other people and the energy that social interaction gives me.
On the other hand, I have to be able to step out when the need arises. I have to manage my commitments and energy constantly. A busy day at work can leave me mentally exhausted, so I can't do anything at home any more. And that's really frustrating for me, my GF and our five year old 😕
@autism101@actuallyautistic I taught myself to warn folks if I feel an infodump coming on. This stems from a time I was unprepared to be on the receiving end of an unwanted infodump.

(I think) I have determined I'm not actually autistic, but whatever I am, autism memes and stories sure nail my thoughts and feelings with great specificity.
