Heaven for domestic abuse: a new spywaretool just up for grabs. It's like having Pegasus at home. What could possibly go wrong? Microsoft knows most families share their accounts or at least can easily log into eachothers accounts. They just choose to ignore it.

If you upgrade to Win11 on your current system (most likely powered by an Intel or AMD CPU), the Recall feature in Copilot will not be available.

If you'd want to use Copilot to begin with is another question, of course 😅

@helma That's true. I'm not a fan of the seemingly limitless endeavors of technology corporations to push AI onto their users either, all for the corporation's benefit.

I can see there are applications for AI when very large amounts of data need to be analyzed, in research for example. But for general use, it will most likely only lead to the lapse of intelligence of the masses 😅

@helma I concur. The ease with which large corporations like Google and Microsoft seem to be able to get licences for building new data centres and the energy that demands, makes me question the 'energy net neutrality', though 🤔

🇳🇱 Ook zoekmachine DuckDuckGo heeft nu AI standaard aan staan. Om het uit te schakelen klik je op de zoekresultatenpagina op de twee "tennisrackets" aan de rechterkant. Vervolgens kies je in het menuutje 'AI-functies > Beheren' en daar kun je alles uitzetten.

@Uraael @TheSpaceshipper I just started my play-through a couple of weeks ago, so I am running the latest official update.

I also downloaded two recommended mods to iron out some quirks and I spent some time tweaking the graphics settings. It plays very smoothly now, even on a relatively modest system like mine.
