That statement alone is bizarre.
Having more market share does not make it a monopoly. It makes it more successful.
If anything, the US smartphone market is a duopoly with #Apple & Google in terms of operating systems and an oligopoly (with others) in terms of hardware.
Apple does control its own smartphones, though. Consumers know this and choose that ecosystem.
@dalfen Their arguments are nonsensical, and puerile. Whoever came up with this twaddle is a prime timewaster, or has the intellect of a MAGAt.
