New pencils are nice but what creative people REALLY need is for you to sort out your software story. Fix what's broken. Innovate on your apps and interoperability between them. Figure out how to use all that power in the iPad besides just "it's a big phone".
Step by step you are ship-of-theseus forgetting what makes you a great company.
@ethanschoonover I don’t understand this criticism. The last Pro was current for a year and a half, and the last case redesign was in 2018. The 2020, 2021, and 2022 updates just put faster chips in them. Their iPad Pro sales have recently tanked specifically because there was no update in 2023.
I want better software, too. But you’re asking for macOS on an iPad. (Which would be cool! But they aren’t gonna do it.)
@ethanschoonover Yes and please at least give me the option to silence annoyances, e.g., "your icloud storage is full," and "There's a new version of Pages if you update your OS."
