I want to celebrate these brave people, but also show you what the media doesn't.
That a lot of the people putting themselves on the line are older, serious, retired or still working, "normal" people, concerned for the future, their grandkids and other people's grandkids.
There's nothing wrong with being young and wild, but the media likes to pretend that's the only group who cares and it's just not true (not even close).
