MCRL Circuit Cup Series Race Recap
+MVT Racing #7 - Steven Carlile
May 15, 2024
Week 13 - Darlington Raceway
Bad luck continues...
Not the most ideal starting position, but we made it work. Avoided trouble and worked our way up to 8th place at the end of stage 1.
Stage 2 was more of the same, scoring 6th place stage points. Our car was fast on the long run, and we felt very confident heading into the final stage.
With 20 laps to go, we were gaining on the leaders and our tires were holding up nicely, but disaster struck as we were collected in an incident, suffering right front suspension damage. We were unable to recover and finished a lap down in 19th.
Watch the action live starting at 8pm ET on https://twitch.tv/movingchicanesrn as the drivers of the MCRL Circuit Cup Series take on the Monster Mile - Dover Speedway.
Our #7 McCruelty Camaro has some speed in it, but it will all come down to tire management tonight.
We'll be running this special paint scheme for our Wednesday night race at Dover in the MCRL Circuit Cup Series. We'll be catching some glances for sure!
#DOTA2#ESLOne#Birmingham event was overall a great week of entertainment. Real shame about the loss of audio in the winners interview and show end. #esports
We've been having a rough go of it over the past few weeks, with major troubles in 3 of the last 4 races in the MCRL Circuit Cup Series. Bristol, Richmond, and Martinsville were all disastrous, so we're hoping to turn things around this week at Texas Motor Speedway.
Not our best track, but as long as we can keep it clean, a top-10 finish would be a welcome result.
Ukrainian esports team Natus Vincere (Latin for “born to win”, or NAVI for short) has won the highly prestigious Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) tournament – PGL Major Copenhagen 2024.
Pit strategy put us up front for most of the race, but we couldn't quite hold on to the lead for the win. We'll settle for a P2 finish at COTA in the Voice Carrier Better Phone Service 250.
Even though we had a fast car, trouble found us on multiple occasions. Eventually, we had to retire from the race due to the damage sustained.
While a 31st place finish was not what we hoped for, the calamity of this race was expected, and it would come down to luck. Unfortunately that luck was just not with us.
All eyes ahead to next week as we head to Circuit of the Americas for the first road course of the season.
