4y ago, when #covid was spreading across the world, I got sick. 4d of severe illness

Then I “recovered” except for low fever, fatigue, body aches…

I worked—& crashed, barely able to get out of bed, rested days/weeks, felt better, went back to work—crashed. That’s the cycle

I set activity limits, cut them back & back…

Today if I walk >400 steps, stand >2 min, sit up >2h, or have >10 min heart rate >85bpm … I crash

Hard lessons. Took a long time to accept I’m #disabled w #LongCovid #MECFS
