In a desperate attempt to (once again) save my stupid tomato plant that has suddenly developed a whiteflies infestation in the past two weeks, I set out to make some "insecticidal soap" (just dish soap & oil diluted in water, really), went to the dollar store to get a spray bottle… and saw #gardening pressure sprayers on the same shelves! 🤔️
Not to spray down your parade, but I've bought that exact same sprayer from DG and was... less than impressed. The handle broke on the second use. Handle it gently. 😶
@helplessduck Yeah, I saw this thing made of plastic and wondered how long this would last. What part broke exactly, the "hold the whole thing" handle, or the trigger, or the pump plunger?
If it's the actual handle, this might be a case where I need to remind myself to put it on a table or to "hold it by the bottle" while pumping…
I doubt items found in specialized gardening stores would be better-built, IIRC they're all made of plastic, probably all the same manufacturer…
