It's funny how over on Twitter there's a positive vibe about #Bluesky but almost completely opposite from what comments I've seen so far on #Mastodon.
Not sure if people realize Bluesky is barely a private beta with almost no features (It's BuddyPress UI folks) or it's a kind of attitude that Mastodon has gotten noticed for.
Right now Mastodon is the best out of all three, but want to see more people open and logical.
@boogah@davidbisset yeah this whole thing just made me reevaluate how I use social media, I use Twitter very little and use mastodon for things I care about and linking to my blog when I post something there. The blog acts as the hub for comments and stuff connecting to the rest of the Fediverse.
Bluesky and other post Twitter stuff I’ve blown off, what I have now works.
@jasontucker@boogah I'm always open to new things. Some things stick (like Mastodon) and others don't (Tumblr for me). I tend to now use Twitter very limited (much more AI conversations happening over there), Mastodon (sharing deep nerd stuff and my memes). Not sure what I would use for BlueSky yet, but I can use all 3 for a single purpose in theory. Same time, just three tools instead of two.
@jasontucker@boogah i'm good with "Mastodon is enough for me" but I don't understand the superiority complex. First at Twitter, then at people who weren't completely off of Twitter, now a few on BlueSky. Makes me not feel at home sharing certain things at Mastodon comfortably as a whole.
