Well that was traumatic, I kept subconsciously opening kbin only to be greatest with a "Planned technical works are in progress" message. Disaster....

A few days ago when I was using /sub I only saw the magazines that I subscribed to. This seems like the intended behavior. But now I see threads from all kinds of magazines plus the ones subscribed under /sub. How can I hide the magazines I am not subscribed to from the subscribed threads view?...

Am I the only one who is annoyed by kbin PWA auto rotate? It always auto rotate even when I turn off auto rotate on my phone. This make it unusable when trying to use it when lying down. It always switched to landscape mode when I try to use it on my bed and it drives me crazy.

I had been using an account on kbin.social without any problems. Then I changed the email address associated with it to a newly-created alias. I did not realize until too late that the alias was not actually valid yet when I made the change....

See, now, Mashable is being disingenuous here and stating that this is still about the API instead of Reddit's mask-off front and center plantation mentality toward the very people they accuse of being 'landed gentry'.

Seems to support CSS styling but I'm not mega knowledgeable about CSS and especially not in the context of styling a Kbin community....

I'm sorry if these are answered already or otherwise obvious. I've had a chance to explore a bit. Made accounts on lemmy.world, sopuli.xyz and kbin.social. After the last few days kbin.social has become my "main" (as seems to be the case for a lot of people)....

Coming from a third party reddit app, my front page did a good job populating itself with posts from less busy subreddits even though there were proportionally WAAAY more dead posts from /r/pics than from a smaller subreddit. Kbin seems to be showing waay more posts from RedditMigration and priacy right now because of how busy...

Note: This is voluntary and optional, user choice....

It happened a few times now for me that I got a notification that someone replied to one of my posts in a thread. In that notification you can click on it and it jumps to the thread, so I start scrolling to search for the reply of the person... and can not find it. Using CTRL+F to search for my Username yields no results...

Was just curious... if I wanted to take my content off from the fediverse (or perhaps just from a particular instance), is there something I can use to download my data in bulk? Or would I have to go through my profile and copy each article and post manually?

Anyone else keep getting 503 errors? Ill refresh like 3 times and itll pop back up, but then I click on a thread and it goes down again.

The Random Posts section in the sidebar still shows NSFW posts even though Hide Adult Content is configured. Is there away to hide those posts or the sidebar altogether?

Hello (from Lemmy)! Now that kbin seems to be back on line and federating I figured it's time to explore their magazines and subscribe and keep growing as a community....

Like a lot of new arrivals, I'm eager to do a 'hello world' sort of post, to see if all is well. So here's mine....

Right around the time federation was reenabled, I noticed that kbin now opens with "all" on the front page even though I have it set to "subscriptions" in my settings. This happens on both my phone and a couple of different computers that I've tried. Has anyone else noticed this?...

I don't see anyone discussing this. What happened? Is it somehow related to the federation being active again? Sorry if that's a dumb question.
