While trying to figure out /kbin I accidentally boosted an article I (very much) did not want to. Is it possible to remove these from my profile?

I'm working on my own fediverse project, Smithereen. It's a functional copy of VKontakte (or Facebook), so it has groups and wall posts....

As you noticed, I had to temporarily enable DDoS protection. Someone is trying quite effectively to distract me from my activities ;p Unfortunately, this may cause some issues with the federation. I will try to cut off the traffic as soon as possible and return to normal operation. Thank you for all your support and patience! :)

Hi, I want to help out working on the kbin frontend. Right now it's pretty primitive and buggy in lots of little places. But I don't want to have to create a whole test instance just to work on the frontend....

I don't see any setting for this. I'm not set to compact view. Lemmy has the same problem (on desktop anyway, Jerboa fixes it on android)

Still trying to wrap my head around exactly how the fediverse works. I understand it is decentralized. Are kbin and lemmy somehow intermingled? Meaning am I able to view lemmy content here on kbin and interact with it without having to create an account on beehaw or whatever?...

Maybe I'm just missing it, but I can't figure out what the Dynamic Lists setting does on the view settings menu. I checked the User guide in docs but I didn't see any explanation of it there either. No hover text, etc......

I noticed that on Beehaw.org and lemmy.ml the upvote count is different is it just an incompatibility with lemmy is or are the upvotes counted on the server independently?

Is this possible? Right now if someone posts a link, the domain of the linked site shows up in the feed, but it's not the actual link but rather the d/domain aggregation link (which is neat). But there does not seem to be a way to open the link without opening the article first. Only then, by clicking on the title or thumbnail...

Just a suggestion to allow us to change a setting where upvotes are on the right side of an article. When using mobile, it would be much easier to upvote articles using my right thumb without reaching my thumb across the screen.

I've noticed a minor issue when trying to subscribe to a Lemmy community. On the Lemmy instance, the link format for a Community starts with an exclamation mark ("!"), instead of the "@" used here and across other services like Mastodon....

Hello, been using kbin for the past couple hours. Really impressed with a lot of the UI, but running in to a few issues. The one that is sticking out to me is being able to only see posts the magazines that I am subscribed to....

Is this a known issue? I haven't gotten any notifications when people replied to my comments or posts.
