#Linux fedi - anyone using Insync to work with OneDrive?
I’m playing with going back to Linux fully but do need OneDrive.
Playing with the open source options (which are pretty great tbh) but I don’t mind throwing coins at a commercial option if it does the trick (especially while it’s 50% off for one more day..!)
@sysgeek I set up reclone, but looking for being able to have some / all files synced offline. Rclone is great for access, but OneDrive client and OneDriver are looking a little more like I need. Probably OneDriver as the main laptop has a only a 256GB SSD..!
@wiredfire yep, used it for quite a while with two separate OneDrive accounts. Found it very reliable. Tried other ways to access but this works so worth paying for.
@wiredfire Sorry not OneDrive. I DO use it for Google Drive though and it works well (though it has a memory leak so you should restart it every now and again) and it consumes too much system resources (so throttling it is IMO wise; I use cgroups).
@wiredfire I use cgroups for all web browser apps and apps that use WebKit because all of the modern browsers that are Firefox or Chromium derivatives end up consuming Gb of RAM for no good reason. Drives me mad.
