@boilingsteam if you guys have a contact at gamesir maybe give them a suggestion of publishing their controller util software on steam itself as well as the windows store.

@boilingsteam Would be interesting as wireless version. Gamepads are one of those things I really don't want to have wired anymore. 😶

@Natanox @boilingsteam I ended up with the T4 pro wireless because I'm not really an RGB guy. AFAIK they're the same chassis but w more flashy flash.

Real solid controller with a gyro (the reason my Xbox one controller wasn't enough)

Super affordable and works like a champ.

@WagesOf @boilingsteam With hall effect joysticks? Generally I already got an awesome controller (Dualshock 4, works like a charm with any device), however I didn't give it a hall effect upgrade yet. Being able to buy a good hall effect gamepad w/ Linux compatibility would be really nice.

@Natanox @boilingsteam you'll want the cyclone pro for gall effect. Tbh hall effect is only a thing because the Nintendo switch has such trash pots in it that wear out in thousands of wipes rather than tens of thousands.

I set my deadzones super small on my standard one and it doesn't drift at all.

That being said if it's the feature you're looking for the cyclone is the one w/o RGB while your original, great, choice of the kaleid is the one w the RGB.

Game on!

@WagesOf @boilingsteam I did encounter stick drift on other gamepads too (like one of my Dualshock 4 pads), so it's definitely a thing in general with potentiometer-driven sticks. That's why I'd love some hall effect sticks. 😉

@Natanox @WagesOf yeah sounds like a good technical solution to an everlasting problems with traditional gamepads

@Natanox @boilingsteam a quick note on compatibility tho.

These things have modes that you switch with the controller itself so you're telling it to directly imitate a switch pro, Xbox or ps4 controller over Bluetooth.

This is pretty great for compatibility, since you can say Linux supports a switch controller w gyro and know that the gamesir will too.

@WagesOf @boilingsteam Hope it's better than with the GameSir G4s. It got a comparable feature for Android and iPhone but a really awful input lag, the buffer apparently can't keep up and slowly fills up (however even the first command is already delayed). I only use it wired because it's that bad.

@Natanox @boilingsteam that sounds horrible. My T4 wireless doesn't have those issues that I've noticed.

Maybe I'm just lucky?
