@popey That post baffles me.

I'm totally onboard with people who say "I don't use a CDN because" (particularly if they won't use Cloudflare).

But they're behind Cloudflare, but have configured it not to cache HTML pages (check the response headers) and then complaining that a few thousand hits overwhelms the site...

@ben @popey to be fair, you have to do some poking at Cloudflare to make it cache HTML; by default it assumes not.

@ben Yeah, it's weird. I appreciate that journalists aren't sysadmins, but there's absolutely a few things they could do to mitigate this.

Or, y'know, use a static site generator like normal people :D
