@Rob200 is this even a debate....? The reason millions left the platform is because of moderation....or so I thought🤔😅

@BeAware which platform? as i'm talking about 3 different platforms within the poll that's linked to. Mastodon, x, and Threads.

and it appears to be a debate as a small percentage those that voted picked Twitter and threads in that poll.

@Rob200 🤔🤷‍♂️I'd say both Twitter and Meta/Threads. But who knows, perception is reality, if you really think about it I guess.

Whatever each individual's point of view, IS their reality, regardless of the actual facts. Though, I'm almost sure it's a tie between Meta/Twitter.

I, myself signed up for Threads for the first time yesterday and was banned when I logged in. Immediately appealed and 24 hours later I could login and mess about for 30 minutes before I was banned again. I never made a single post or put text into the App at all besides my name and username...🤦‍♂️

I still don't know what the ban was about, lol I would try costumer support or etc.

Compared to the Mastodon votes there would be less debate on this. But it shows that some think Threads or Twitter is better at moderation.

Threads i'm not as sure ,but surely since it's decentralized it would have its issues.

Then Twitter/x a platform known for defying the laws of physics as some might say. They're known for not moderating some speech. Some governments even had concerned over x.
