hotchocolateman6969,

Don’t even get started with anime, I feel like there’s sooo many good shows but each one has over 600 episodes and I won’t ever get time to watch it all

I’m not even mad because the maths is making more sense than my computational maths module in my masters

    stephenc,

I’m sure they’re all fine shows but I just can’t bring myself to care about television any more. Haven’t watched a new movie in who knows how many years, too.

Getting old and indifferent is a bitch.

I get it. My wife and I still watch TV shows but it’s at a slow place. This idea of watching an entire season in a few days is lost on me. I watch about 2 to 4 hours a week so seasons usually take a while.

    sheogorath,

I usually set time to watch one or two episodes of a series rotated daily. Made it feel like the olden days with the added bonus of not getting burned out binging all the series.

    Nioxic,

I only watch shows when they are done airing the last season / episode. Few exceptions… like mindless comedy shows that have no ongoing story arch through the seasons… like the simpsons.

    EmoDuck,

Once all of One Piece has been released I’ll just binge it all at once

    IT ME!

    theyoyomaster,

I’ve only seen exactly one of these.

    LarkinDePark,

    The boys, am I right?

    theyoyomaster,

So I totally missed half of them on the last panel. I was thinking Ted lasso but I did see the boys. That’s what I get for lemmying while taking my half asleep morning poo.

    tacosplease,

Same. For me it was Wednesday

    theyoyomaster,

No desire to see Wednesday. I did just notice westworld though, I liked that one and it makes two with Ted lasso. Tried Euphoria and hated it after 10 minutes. Started the last of us but wife hated it and am waiting for a chance when she’s not around.

    neonred,

Seriously, I know none of them, not a single one. Maybe they are made up?

    NoGodsNoMasters,

I’ve seen literally one of those shows lol, definitely know the feeling

    tpihkal,

    I always click on serpadesign!

Now to strap in for a summoningsalt marathon about games I’ve never and will never play

    zoe, (edited )

i lose brain cells whenever i watch tv or netflix

    settoloki,

You should probably avoid both then. Sounds like you don’t have many to start with

    AlexWIWA,

    And they’re all MID

    Viking_Hippie,
    AlexWIWA,

just rewatch futurama for the 30th time like a normal person (i.e. me, the normalest of all)

    Shyfer,

That’s basically what my partner and I do with Bob’s Burgers. I want to watch new things but I basically have to wait for days where she’s not there lol.

    Lininop,

Fellas, is it a crime to want to share something you enjoy? As long as you aren’t demonizing people who haven’t seen it, who cares?

    WhitePaintIsEvil,

It’s not about demonizing the person sharing. It’s about the feeling of being overwhelmed because there’s so much shit you haven’t seen and will never see. You will never have enough time to get through that list and that can feel bad.

    casmael,

Yeah that’s about it. I also think it’s about the dawning realisation that this medium or format of storytelling has become increasingly commercialised; and that in spite of the vast hours of content available, there is paradoxically less genuine narrative than ever.

    Cherufe,

I just watch Naruto, there are hundreds of episodes and I will never finish it before the apocalypse

    kungfuratte,

Wait until you hear about these things called “books”…

    Nath,
    @Nath@aussie.zone avatar

Ooh! I was going to say that I haven’t watched any of these shows, nor even heard of half of them. But, I’ve probably got common ground with you if you give me a similar list of books/series.

Have just finished the Mortal Instruments series, which apparently was turned into a TV show called “Shadow Hunters”. No idea if it was any good, though.
