Nope, he’s playing with original hardware, the screen shot is a reference to what was a speed running bounty. There was a streamer playing that part of Super Mario 64 and he glitched straight up, if it could be repeated it would be a great time save for speed running. After years of investigation the community decided that it was caused by a bit flip probably caused by cosmic radiation. You can’t get that bit flip on an emulator.
Hey so the cosmic ray thing was a really popular meme but the glitch was probably just a crooked cartidge. It’s funny to imagine a cosmic ray doing this but the odds are so low as to be functionally impossible, and this kind of glitch can happen with dirty or loose connections.
Woah my question is how does these guys exist ? Like rent, food clothes, electricity, water, pc etc. ain’t exactly cheap even if he inherited the house that only takes care of the rent issue. If anyone here is like that do tell me your secrets.
Despite the common assumption that most of these types of people are living at home with Mommy and Daddy I’ve known several programmers or coders who work from home and basically live like this.
They only really leave the house for groceries or shit like that. Honestly outside of the hygiene aspects I’d kill to rarely need to leave my home.

Yeah, because you can’t prove a negative. He doesn’t need to debunk it, only to provide an alternative explanation which is more likely. Occam’s razor.
Occam’s razor won’t get you to the correct conclusion for all possible combinations of truth values and evidence, but it is always the best process to follow. You might end up getting new evidence later that means you update your belief, even update it to believe in something which previous evidence meant Occam’s razor lead you to dismiss that conclusion. But it helps you arrive at the best conclusion based on current evidence.
Because assuming that is a way bigger assumption than something like “faulty hardware”, especially since this guy has stories about other things that we know are faulty hardware.
I also bought into the bit flip theory but it was confirmed that the hardware was somewhat faulty which is an infinitely more likely cause than cosmic rays. There’s also the fact that there aren’t any bits that could be flipped which would perfectly reproduce the glitch.
I would be angry too if I have already done lots of research trying to figure this out and the top videos and articles talking about it all say the least likely thing is what actually happened.
