I want to see if I can get a spark of the โold internetโ back by making a starting page for myself with all kinds of cool websites. But not sure where to start because Google obviously will not work for this....
For some reason Iโve just never liked Spider-Man. He comes off as a whiney, ignorant child that never seems to grow up or mature despite everything he goes through. I love a good coming of age story, but he just never seems to become an adult.
Itโs a great premise, but he shouldnโt be a โsuperhero.โ
Superheros need villains and a reason to โsave the worldโ Hulk would be a great story of someone who struggles with every day life trying to keep his internal monster at bay, but stuffing him into the superhero role just turns a psychological allegory into โWho we smashing today?โ
Iโm starting to think maybe we just related to the whiney teenager more when we were one, (looking at you 90s TV show) but experiencing him as a jaded adult just doesnโt hit the same.
Iโve got a pretty wide spread on my kids (step & bio). One in college, 3 teens and a ten year old.
Every phase has its ups and downs. Some days I wish the teenagers wanted to involve us more, and other days I wish the ten year old would just give me some space! ๐

Iโd love for this to be true, but I have questions.
Iโm sure the SC knows this, so how could they announce that they wonโt have a decision until after the election yet Iโm not hearing anyone else pointing out the deadline and calling them liars?
My wife and I had a โHoly shit, this could be itโ moment while discussing it the other day and weโd both love a reason to sleep better at night.

I may not be proud of it, but I havenโt cut back.
My lunch ritual is go through a drive thru and eat in my car while playing on my phone. Between apps and coupons, I can usually eat for $5-7, sometimes I order something at full price because it sounds particularly good that day.
I know there are so many other better options, but my neurodivergency doesnโt like it when I change up a ritual thatโs been going on for so many years.
It has always amused me that the tourists to the US that Iโve spoken to are often very excited to see raccoons, and disappointed if they donโt see them before they leave....
My original comment probably seems less insane now. I wouldnโt need to pet the bear, my grandpa had a rug, I know what they feel like. Not snuggly at all.
