Oh he was. Still not clear what caused his hospitalization. I'm inclined to believe that it was a warning from his good ol' friend.
Regardless Lukashenko has dug himself a pretty deep hole, hard if not impossible for him to get out of this ones.
I have seen Macron trying to do something in this regard, a couple of days saying stuff like how "we pushed Belarus towards Russia", I'm not sure if his strategy of trying to pull Belarus from Russia will work at this point, but I can't blame Macron for giving it a shot - the fewer friends Russia has, the better.
