sebastian, 2 months ago It's that time again: I'm thinking about what I want to share at conferences about #PHP in general and #testing with #PHPUnit in particular. Feel free to write your ideas and wishes in a reply to this toot.

Crell, 2 months ago @sebastian I've been using PHPUnit for many years, but I know there's features I've never heard of but want to use. What cool attributes do I not know about? What advanced features can I use that would step-up my game? Most people (I think) know about data providers and mocking. What's the next level up of tricked-out tests?

@Crell Thank you!
acelaya, 2 months ago @Crell @sebastian I recently learned about TestWith, which can be an alternative to data providers for simple cases. EDIT: sorry, I just realized you were answering Sebastian, not openly asking the community 😅

sebastian, 2 months ago @acelaya @Crell The TestWith attribute would be on the "Top 10 Features Sebastian Does Not Use Himself" list, I guess ;-)

acelaya, 2 months ago @sebastian @Crell Is there any particular reason we should actually avoid it? Or is it just a matter of personal preference?
