Well I got mine in a former president/current rapist approved state at one of the Trump clinics. That’s the thing, it doesn’t matter if what I’m doing is moral or has any thought. It just matters that the guy that I like (you know, for being a rapist and bragging on national television) is in on the take!
God fucking damnit, even his most boneheaded supporters should realize the impossibility of that statement:
Some people want to allow some form of abortions.
Some people want no abortions under any circumstance.
There is literally no scenario (or “deal”) where both of those groups of people would be happy. They’re absolutely mutually exclusive. But like everything else that fat slobbing orange skidmark says, it’s vapid and gibberish enough that his supporters hear whatever they want to hear.
TBF a ban with an absolute TONS of exceptions, from genetic defects to being underaged etc, would probably please like 90% of people. But Trump cannot and will not give people that.
Trump just talks bullshit, just like how he said he wouldn’t get Roe v Wade overturned, and how he said he would make a better ACA replacement that makes everyone happy.
Exceptions actually aren’t good. Either they have no teeth and anyone can get one with a simple lie, which pisses off abortion foes, or the exception is just used to delay abortion to the point of illegality (or death of the mother), pissing off abortion proponents.
I guarantee this wouldn’t make 90% of people happy.
If Trump passed it (which we established he never would) then Fox News would say it’s the most thorough and concrete anti-abortion rhetoric ever spoken and none of his idiot followers would think otherwise, so I think it would make 90% happy.
Everyone should have known this instantly about this laughable con artist just by the way he talks. Big, broad claims with zero specifics. At this point we’re still waiting for the health plan which will be so much better than the ACA.
His deal is a total ban and free season on his “enemies.”
That’s it.
This time, he will make the “Right people suffer” that the lady down in Florida wanted in 2019. She will, too, eventually, but that’s besides the point.
