I‘m shocked by the response I got from a data broker today. And not because they didn‘t give me any information on what they are doing with my data (which they didn‘t), but because of the copy of my data, which they did give me.
The amount of data they have is - for a lack of a better description - surprising. They must have scraped every single bit of information for years and never deleted any of it. Oh, we‘re going to have fun.

@ralb I keep telling people this. I don't wish to alarm you but it probably isn't even a mote of it. It used to make my toes curl when people would say they had nothing to hide from facebook or whomever. Well I've seen your customary records, your search history, all those little javascript spies taking notes on everything from the tremor in your mouse hand, to your change in diet, when you wake, when you sleep... But its "Anonymized" lmao really.
