matthew3, I'm looking for an open source project to contribute to. It's essential it has a friendly community. #Scala or #Java, so that rules out Mastodon.

Any suggestions for projects would be very welcome. Also, any general tips on contributing to OSS are welcome too.
I thought one way in would be to contribute something simple like increasing unit test coverage - if I happen to spot something missing.
