@e_kelley @arstechnica A car like this one is meant to give fun on B roads and thus must be as light as possible. 155 miles range (if confirmed) is spot on the use case.
More generally, lightness helps with efficiency, reducing the need for huge batteries and thus limiting their manufacturing's ecologic disaster. I hope that automotive industry will get this really fast and will ditch pachydermic SUVs
