I'm curious what others here think about the strategy of ignoring them.
These kinds of human beings desperately want to rile people up. They want to be seen and heard and screamed at and they want to be in the news coverage. They feel important when they get that kind of attention.
I would love to see news outlets demonstrate the courage to ignore them.
I would love to see zero counter protestors and zero onlookers. Consider asking people to avoid the areas where they will be protesting and refrain from posting anything on social media.
If they're outnumbered, they'll turn tail and run.
If there's no opposition, they know that they've won, and feel like they own an area. And they'll act like it. They will actively seek out targets if they believe no one is going to fight back.
Really, the best way to deal with these scum is something I can't write about publicly, but I can tell you right now that "just ignore them" is an exceedingly bad strategy
@myeyesaredim@revrocky I've been informed that the one in Edmonton will be at the ATA building and parents will be pulling their kids from school at 9.
