@sjb Flagship phone: small enough to fit in the flagpole on a ship

@foo I was actually trying to find if they did the small size in Android phones (probably is one somewhere). But instead, Amazon returned that ridiculous thing searching for "small phone"

Context: while they didn't release an iPhone 14 mini last year, the did keep the 13 mini around for an extra year, but just discontinued it with today's 15 release.

I have no illusions that there will ever be a new small flagship phone.

I've had my 12 mini for 3 years, the longest I've kept a phone. Not even counting the size issue, I just don't see a reason to upgrade anymore. I've reached peak An Phone.

@foo It is really shocking to see how massive phones have gotten these days-- I just replaced a battery on a Gen 1 iPhone and that thing felt microscopic compared to my Samsung A21.

I would love to see a micro phone with a stripped down UI somewhere between a smart watch and a smart phone. But I don't think that's in the works any time soon.
