We're reaching an era in infra ops where the giant corporation-owned tooling is closing its doors, and more open 2nd systems are being built like Kargo (from Argo creators), OpenTF (from Terraform users), and JetPorch (from Ansible creator).
@geerlingguy Looking forward to JetPorch, read the dev's blog post a while ago, great to see things are happening. Ansible's performance has been the biggest pain point for me.
@geerlingguy The company I work for has built an automation framework that lets you glue a lot of tools together (Terraform, Anisble, direct cloud provider APIs, etc) in a truly setup-and-run-all-the-way through-to-completion system which we plan to open source. Very much looking forward to showing it off to the world.
