Observed this w/my 88 yr old neighbor last July who nearly got me sick w/BA.5; she was functioning perfectly fine until about November when she got visibly sick again
The recent Northeastern study was💡If asymptomatic pre-➕it seems asymptomatic post-sickness w/viral persistence
They never clear it & don’t fall visibly ill again until enough of a mutated variant comes along
waiting for the science studies to prove what I’ve been seeing…
It's mostly irrelevant anyway. I still wonder regularly how many separate infections a person can survive, on average. My bet is somewhere between 7 and 10.
@trendless my brother has covid for a 2nd time. Got it during a trip to key west. He went back home when he started "feeling bad" no idea if he masked on the plane back or not. 🫠
