@Bot4Sale I did; used to have two benefits: Reddit gold, and ad-free. I got enough utility it was worth it to me. I pay for things that provide me value.

But if I pay and they still want to invade my privacy, I stop paying.

@geerlingguy I deleted my 3rd party app when that mess went down and have not looked back.

It won’t happen as quickly but its Digg moment will come at some point.

Lemmy is getting bigger and I haven't missed reddit since moving over there. Sync, my favorite reddit app even made the switch so it looks about the same again

@geerlingguy Haven't been back to Reddit since the API debacle. I closed down the OpenRGB subreddit and moved to Lemmy. Hopefully Reddit keeps losing users, I would love to see it die. I loved Reddit for over a decade, but current management does not deserve an ounce of success. Selling out the long-term userbase for short-term profit.

@geerlingguy had been there for 12 years but finally deleted my posts and account this morning.
Mastodon so far has been better at replacing Twitter than Lemmy has of reddit.

@geerlingguy I haven’t been back since they killed Apollo.. it’s been tough as I was on Reddit entirely too much. I do miss it some days but what they’re doing to it is disheartening.
