@fogelnet is that a new development? A number of years ago I had sirius in my work truck and I distinctly remember hearing Dead and Company on the channel. Maybe there's been a programming change.
@drummmerandy That was most likely The Grateful Dead channel on channel 23. The Dead Archive came out a couple of years ago, streaming only. They also came out with a Grateful Dead album channel, streaming only. Not sure if that still exists though.
@drummmerandy Dead Archive is just Grateful Dead music. Not talk, no individual band projects. I wouldn't mind if they played complete shows and they may. I haven't heard any yet.
@fogelnet@drummmerandy I am no longer a subscriber, but for the six months I had it after buying my car, I mostly listened to the GD channel. I agree that the D&C often killed the vibe. Some of what they played I just didn't like, but once in a while they would play some D&C that sounded pretty good, like the LA Bird Song from this year.
The other channel I sometimes listened to was The Beatles, and that suffered from too many solo album tracks, especially from Ringo and Paul.
