Don't think it was the apartheid quote. That part I don't even entirely disagree with you on.
It's the part where a country just suffered a 9-11 X10 event, with inhuman atrocities from a well known terrorist organisation that kills their own people when they don't attack us, and blame us for provoking it. That's the fact ignorance you are blamed for. Blaming the victims (yes, Palestinians have been & will be victims of Hamas) and picking the wrong side here.
@timnitGebru Maybe others reported you too, but I did report. I did not report you over using the word "apartheid" nor your other toots talking about Israeli violence. I reported because you wrote "The audacity to call this “unprovoked.”" In what other context would it be ok to say someone was "provoked" to rape and massacre people?

@timnitGebru I mean, apartheid is such a dicey subject that conversations around it are rarely productive.
Depending on one's reading of the ICSPCA/ICC definitions, apartheid is either so common that every country is guilty of it to an extent, making the concept less than helpful, or so narrow that it's almost impossible to prove save for some very specific circumstances.
So people start arguing over semantics (like I'm doing now, stupidly) and lose sight of what's actually important.
@Legit_Spaghetti@timnitGebru We are fortunate that Amnesty International produced a 280 page document detailing how the Israeli occupation meets the definition of apartheid, and that the UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights in the OPT also agrees.
You’re right that stopping the violence is what is important, but we must also never lose sight of the fact that Israel is literally breaking international law and getting away with it.
And the person who reported Timnit hasn’t a leg to stand on.
