@foone By now you should have parts of at least a dozen time machines, time anchors, return beacons, and other paratemporal hardware. Couldn't you build your own time machine out of that stuff, and just commit working code from 10 years from now?

@foone I’ve got good news for you: you can completely get rid of your security because if the time travelers are able to stop you that would create a time paradox and the universe is not particularly big on those. So in theory you can trust the situation to just resolve itself without your intervention. Idk, maybe they get sick War of the Worlds-style.

@bearloga @foone If you did that the universe may decide the easiest way to prevent the paradox would be to remove the planet, like in Niven's short story "Rotating Cylinders and the Possibility of Global Causality Violation"?

Clearly the future lies in involving AI in these security tasks, possibly delegating it entirely to AI. By the way, whatever could motivate these times travellers to try and stop you I wonder.
