The new Speaker of the House deleted his entire website and his entire record of his podcast a day after getting the job. Wouldn't want people to have it.
Man, too bad there aren't any archivists who knew to grab it immediately.
@la_sombra I'm no expert in this, but I think in the crazy bustle of the rounds of votes, some of the candidates were taking a moon shot and some seemed so unlikely they weren't being particularly vetted or checked for the position, a reflection of the power vacuum. Johnson was always a back bencher, and was loud and weird from the back to keep relevant, and then suddenly second in line for presidency. That's pretty chaotic.
@nonlinear there's a difference between getting hired because of your views and stated goals, and having everything you've said when you were a low ranking member of Congress available for everyone to grab and interrogate
@textfiles Is it one podcast or several? I hope someone in the media will do some homework on this. Sheesh. Johnson is now second in the line of succession. We have a right to know who he is, what his history is, etc.
