I've noticed a lot of snobbery about print statements. I love the debugger. "Right tools for the right job". Sometimes print statements are right for the problem.

I use jupyter python notebooks now. still do it 🙄 don't even know what the debugging tools are...

@nixCraft Sometimes print("test") is also useful at eliminating race conditions in some languages, especially D.

@nixCraft Sometimes print is just more suitable. Especially when the software runs 2 hours to produce the error, but with debugging enabled it runs a week.
