@christianselig Thank you for all the years and hard work and good luck with your future projects, I have tried over 10+ Reddit third party apps and Apollo was probably among the best, if not the best, just joy to use.

@christianselig Been reading all the posts about this, and it makes me so angry. I hope Reddit walks back these incredibly expensive API charges. Today's AMA should be pretty wild. Even if they do change their ways, still hard to trust them as a company.

@christianselig any chance you’ll build a mastodon app? Just switched over here after the Reddit shit show and it’s a bit confusing at first to say the least. I think you’d do a really nice job creating an intuitive app.
I’d be happy to help with any marketing or graphic design work needed to make it happen.
@christianselig Reddit AMA is tomorrow. I'm very curious how they will react. If they want to become EBIDTA positive, they need to at least cover costs. Not sure they can reduce 3d party app costs by much...

@christianselig I only just discovered the Apollo app. I was so frustrated with the Reddit app, and then I heard about Apollo and saw it highlighted at the WWDC, so I downloaded it. Although I hardly knew ye, I will miss ye. Best of luck with your other endeavors. Maybe consider making an awesome app for Mastodon?

I've been a happy Ultra subscriber a long time and while I'd happily have paid what you needed to keep running, it totally understand and respect your moral and emotional reasons for just shuttering things.
I'll be sad to see it go, but I wish you all the best <3
