Almost walked out of work this morning after I was asked why I left the window unattended. I had walked across the lobby to turn the lights on out there. (They were still on dim) I was 10 seconds away if anybody had come in.
Apparently I'm supposed to let the bosses know the lights are off so they can call facilities. I literally spent less than a minute walking over & pushing a button that the facilities guys showed me so we wouldn't have to call for something that stupid.
Oh heavens, no! They call it in & facilities gets to us whenever they think about it. It's bad enough we're in the dank, windowless basement. Customers are unnerved enough without walking into the dim light of doom.
