It is not too late to stop Donald Trump, but we need someone else who inspires the people, and Joe Biden, who kept the status quo for 4yrs is not that person.
3x the votes is what Trump obtained during New Hampshire primaries compared to Joe Biden. It gets worse -if we add up ALL the democratic votes and give them to Biden, Trump still would have more votes.
We need a progressive, not another moderate -someone else who inspires people and gives hope.
Biden was a write-in in New Hampshire, and Trump did worse than expected.
Biden hasn't exactly been "keeping the status quo"; take a look at what he has accomplished, even without both House and Senate behind him. The list is long.
Is he perfect? No bloody way. Would a true progressive win, given the overall sentiment in the USA regarding progressives? Also no bloody way.
Joe Biden failed to make people feel positive change.
Did he try for universal healthcare? Universal basic income? Tax the wealthy? No, and he did not even try. Even if he didn't have the support, he could have started the discussion.
Most people hear the economy is better and they ask, better for whom? The Ceo, Board of Directors, and Shareholder is certainly making money hand over fist.
Meanwhile, sure there are more jobs, so instead of working 1, I can work 2 or 3.
Biden HAS managed to make people feel positive for the first time in years; that you don't doesn't mean nobody does.
He has done a hell of a lot for ordinary folk without tilting at windmills. As for "the discussion," there are progressive Democrat Reps who are pursuing that every day. You know, the people who can actually do something other than write an Executive Order that will get smacked down.
C-level folk and Board members have always made money for doing nothing; it's baked in to Capitalism. To stop that will take a complete reboot of the American Dreamᵀᴹ
