If I was a councillor sacked for being corrupt after an IBAC investigation,I wouldn't stand for re-election, I would disappear into obscurity in shame for doing a bad thing. This is probably why I'm not a councillor. The audacity of these bottom feeders is astounding.
@duncan_bayne having attended a few council meetings over the years, it's hard to see them as anything but self absorbed and their functions carried out by state government bodies
@decryption The thing is that they have no other skill of value to society. Their only chance of having a career is to hold these positions, there is no alternative.
