@caseyliss@tvaziri Do you find that Watch unlock is flaky though? It doesn’t work consistently for me while wearing Vision Pro. (Plus, on weekends, I tend not to wear my Apple Watch.)
@gruber@caseyliss@tvaziri that watch unlock phone feature drives me nuts because it just randomly does it when I don’t want to unlock the phone. I have it turned off.
@gruber@tvaziri Seriously. The Vision Pro knows I’m looking at my phone, why doesn’t it just unlock it for me, similar to when you first set it up and it prompts you to just look at your phone to transfer your Apple ID?
@gruber@tvaziri This was my “Oh shit!” moment during the Apple Store demo. I instinctively picked up my phone and was confused why it didn’t FaceID unlock.
@gruber@tvaziri I don’t own a Vision Pro, and I realize this is slightly ridiculous, but I do wonder if setting up an “alternate (Face ID) appearance” while wearing the headset is a viable workaround.
