@liaizon Sharkey kind of has this with an integration to Listenbrainz. It appears on your profile page, doesn’t create a note tho. It’s a bit of a skip and jump - from Plexamp or other compatible music player to Listenbrainz to Sharkey via API.
On your Sharkey profile, edit your profile and enter your Listenbrainz account name in the text box.

@box464 thanks! Hey @Marie this is awesome. I see you added federation as well to this listenbrainz feature. Do you have a write up about what it supports or how it works? I have been thinking about internet radio players being in a fediverse client for a few weeks and this is the closest I have seen to someone doing this. Would be awesome to see this supported in a mobile client as well!
I want to click "post on fedi" and have the metadata from my internet radio stream copied here "currently listening to Example at example.tld/station.pls"
@liaizon PeerTube definitely posts to Mastodon, but doesn't sound like it has the specific feature you want. you should post a feature request on their issue board
@musicman Peertube does not post to Mastodon, PeerTube federates with mastodon which is very different. They also do not support any internet radio standards
hey @M0YNG, would love to have a section on https://fediverse.radio (or a subdomain) for community internet radio stations who have a presence on the fediverse
@M0YNG yes I know that it is different. That'd why I suggested maybe you could spare a subdomain. You have a good domain for the the whole radio community! Ham and otherwise!
