My 15 year old Dell running Ubuntu is definitely getting past it and this great video by @thelinuxexperiment on sub EUR550 laptops (ht @kim_harding ) makes me think seriously of getting a new one.
Any other recommendations for a new reasonably priced #LinuxLaptop?
Refurbished Thinkpads.
RAM and SSD are the biggest concerns imho.
So depending on your preferences going with a T or X Series.
There are spare parts available, you most likely do not need the newest generation, documented, and the hardware maintance manual is out as well.
Furthermore they are being build for Business users.
