@christianselig are you converting compression formats/re-encoding or just repackaging? I wonder if people just trying to turn a .mkv into a .mp4 don’t know that can be done in seconds without the hassle in Subler.
@christianselig BTW: I custom-static-compiled my FFMPEG v6.0 and my HEVC (non-hevc_toolbox encodes) increased speed by 30% over the normal static binary FFMPEG downloaded from several locations.
@christianselig If you ever want to do it, I've got a great build script that I cobbled together (arm or intel) from info on esexperts.net. It downloads all the libraries to a directory, sets up a ramdisk and then compiles a binary. Just ask me sometime.
@christianselig or played any 3D games via emulation / Wine 🍷 translation. For me, the first time I heard them was playing The Witcher 2 from GOG Galaxy. Needless to say, I was shocked when it happened, because they went from zero to, what seems at least, 70 or 80%, so much that, well, they were audible to me for the first time.
