Busy trying to prevent a negative serotonin syndrome outcome while on call but yea lets keep disabling each other with a brain injuring virus so I can have even more on my plate while my colleagues are forced to medically retire.
@hannu_ikonen I just don't get people accepting walking into understaffed stores with shelves not stocked, workers obviously fatigued, sick, almost brain dead - kids teachers constantly ill, they and their friends, neighbours, colleagues sick, appointments cancelled
It's all apparently normal and acceptable
And they give weird looks to anyone wearing a mask as if people trying to avoid Covid are abnormal?
@hannu_ikonen Our vet reduced hours weekdays, stopped boarding pets, stopped keeping sick pets overnight, and are now closed on weekends. When I take my cat in I’m often the only person wearing an N95 mask. One of the vets wears a surgical mask when he comes in the room, none of the techs or other humans bother masking at all. 😖
Nonmasking science deniers are killing themselves, disabling themselves, disabling others, traumatizing the medical & veterinarian staff and yet we feign surprise as war in Europe breaks out, nonbinary indigenous folk are murdered by the state of Oklahoma, and the US sponsors yet another genocide.
@hannu_ikonen Sympathies. I take 5-HTP to help with my migraines, Raynaud’s syndrome, and digestive issues I developed from years of stress induced low serotonin. Wishing you calming rest.
