One of the things I hate most about living in a non-English-speaking place is that I start to lose intellectual vocabulary.
I sometimes have ideas which are really complicated to express, and I know how the structure of the argument goes, but when I get to the last part of speech production, I find that the very very specific word I need isn't there anymore, and I know that it once was.
@AngleseyStick (Honestly, losing vocabulary to Welsh would feel like much more of a positive accomplishment than having my words kidnapped by German ;)
