ok twitter is becoming unusable with the number of ads it is giving me (plus, you know, everything else) so I am going to see if I can give Mastodon a try...

Biggest tip I can give is to follow hashtags copiously. There are some great ones out there. Personal favorite is .

Another tip is to follow accounts that boost a lot like @FediFollows so you can quickly find folks to follow.
