Right now you can't do trial by jury, something mentioned in the constitution, if one private company is having a bad day.

Back when I worked for the federal government we had to avoid using private cloud products and such and while that was pretty limiting technically, I definitely prefer that world to the one we currently have, where government agencies are making heavy use of private sites and getting "official" accounts.
Like, my local sheriff's office only publishes updates on Twitter, and is therefore subject to all the policy changes happening there thanks to Elon's purchase of it.
@catty it still runs into the same issue as depending on a private company to host it. They have their own website, surely it can handle a couple hundred megabytes of video
