@mntmn congrats!

@mntmn Don't crunch too much though! I think MNT customers are the kind of people who would be okay waiting a bit longer if extra rest for you and the team is required.

@thomholwerda @mntmn 100%. I’ve had the original for years and I’m waiting on a pocket but I’d rather wait than have the team get burned out.

@thomholwerda @mntmn I have, very deep, an odd desire to code bare-metal on modern hardware, the same way I do on ancient devices. Now, being honest, I don't have time for that, not anywhere close. But, at the same time, if I decided to do it, I'd do it for some MNT hardware.

@mntmn @jbqueru Regardless, the Reform (and I'm assuming the Pocket, although I haven't used it, of course) is a great machine. It's explicitly designed for people who have the kind of knowledge and expertise you do, JBQ!

@thomholwerda @mntmn Yup, I agree. Regardless of my low-level programming desires, if I wanted an ARM Linux laptop, I know I'd be hitting a Reform (w/ 32GB 3588)...

@thomholwerda @mntmn as long as it gets here in time to setup for , I really don't care. Even if I would love to have it in my hands right now.

I liked my Pinebook Pro, but it felt... lacking in the specs department. Where as the Pocket Reform it's upgradeable and already eyeing the RK3588 upgrade after I get my initial unit and benchmark it for my own needs.
