I have never been less interested in talk about Apple than I have been in the last few months. Between DMA/DoJ and Vision Pro, my tech podcast queue has become a bit of a snooze fest.
On the bright side, I'm catching up on more non-tech shows I love.
@jcieplinski Reasonable approach. I like the nerd talk at times, but not who I want trying to dissect legal matters that are already out of my control.
@agiletortoise I considered myself pretty expert level on rock history thru the 90s but even on artists who I’m super knowledgeable about, Hickey comes up with stuff I didn’t know. And there’s so many places where he upends the common wisdom. I’m a proud backer.
@boxspring Yes. Also find he misses the point here and there on the ones I have some personal knowledge of…but he’s always incredibly honest about the con-trer-vo-sees in his research. The way he stirs the soup of unreliable accounts is golden.
