I'm adding a watchOS app for SalaryPig. How do people generally share UserDefaults with the watch? I'm tempted to use CloudKit because that way I can also sync settings with iPadOS, but I've never used it before and am scared

Y'all I just got my first interactive widget working! This widget lets you see the next and last hour where precipitation is predicted on your tracked day.

Please Don't Rain showing a widget with a forecast for Nov 15 for Remy's Ratatouille Adventure. The forecast is for 8am initially but pressing a button that looks like an arrow pointing to the right changes the forecast data to 11pm.

Well that isn't the kind of news you enjoy receiving on a Saturday afternoon…looks like something changed in the WidgetKit Image Size limit or enforcement in iOS 17.1…so now every small Widgetsmith widget which uses a single photo will now fail to load, and be replaced with an empty grey box.

😱

Somehow I didn't catch this during my testing on the iOS 17.1 betas, so now I'm in a race to see if I can fix & deploy an update before iOS 17.1's adoption reaches a critical mass. 🤪

Coredata is 95% done, need to work out one issue.
Syncs with CloudKit.
Have implemented some charts but not done yet.
One visual issue needs to be fixed in one view.
