@davep why I think it might be fake. ploy by Putin's side to confuse/delay/weaken Wagner before they get Moscow itself

cuz from pov of Prigozin's future its madness. dead man walking. whereas if he continues theres an outcome where he becomes the new strongman on top of Russia

Putin briefed Lukashenko in the morning, so the whole thing was a bit of a charade. Why didn't they do the deal then?

1. Prigozin was told (by Putin, via Belarus head Lushenko) he'd be a dead man if he kept going (eg. Putin willing to nuke him)

2. Putin and Prigozin orchestrated this all along, together. I had been getting "this is too good to be true" vibes about Prigozin's first shenanigans months agoz where it aounded surely like he was a dead man walking... unless already playing a role for Putin, a longer game

cuz 3rd possibility is that Prigozin is trusting fool & NOW a dead man walking

@synlogic It was weird that the air force didn't just go in and destroy the convoy. So it would appear to be 2, but how does that benefit Putin?
